Welcome to TrailTainer. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, products, and services. By accessing our website, making a purchase, or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our website or services.

1. General

1.1. We are the operator of TrailTainer, a business that sells both horse trailers and shipping containers. By placing an order through our website, you agree to the terms outlined below, which protect and set expectations for both parties regarding our services.

1.2. Subject to Stock Availability: We strive to maintain accurate stock counts on our website. However, discrepancies may occasionally occur. In such cases, we will fulfill available products and inform you of any back-ordered items.

2. Shipping Costs

2.1. Shipping costs are usually free for all orders.

3. Returns

3.1. Return Due to Change of Mind

We accept returns due to a change of mind if the request is made within 30 days of receipt of the item. Items must be returned in original packaging, unused, and in resellable condition. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense.

  • Once returned items are received and accepted, refunds will be processed as store credit. You will be notified via email.
  • We will refund the value of the goods returned but not the shipping fees paid.

3.2. Warranty Returns

  • Valid warranty claims can be submitted within 30 days of receipt. Customers are required to pre-pay return shipping, which will be reimbursed upon successful warranty claim.
  • Upon receiving returned items for a warranty claim, we’ll process it within 10 days. You’ll have the option of a refund to your payment method, store credit, or a replacement item (if available).

4. Delivery

4.1. Transit Time Domestically:
Domestic shipments typically take 5 to 7 business days to arrive, depending on the size of your order and delivery location.

4.2. Transit Time Internationally:
International orders may take between 5 to 22 days, depending on the courier and destination.

4.3. Dispatch Time:
Orders are generally dispatched within 1 business day of receiving the order. Some larger items, such as horse trailers or shipping containers, may take longer due to their size.

4.4. Change of Delivery Address:
You can change your delivery address before dispatch. Once your order is shipped, we cannot make changes to the address.

4.5. P.O. Box Shipping:
We can ship smaller items to P.O. boxes using postal services. Larger items such as horse trailers and shipping containers may require a street address for delivery.

4.6. Military Address Shipping:
Military addresses are shipped using USPS. Please ensure the correct address format for military deliveries.

4.7. Items Out of Stock:
If an item is out of stock, we will notify you immediately and dispatch it once it becomes available. You may choose to cancel your order if an item is out of stock for an extended period.

4.8. Delivery Time Exceeded:
If the estimated delivery time has passed and you haven’t received your order, please contact us for an update on your shipment status.

5. Tracking Notifications

5.1. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to track your shipment’s progress through the carrier’s website.

6. Parcels Damaged in Transit

6.1. If a parcel arrives damaged, please reject the delivery if possible. If the package is already delivered, contact customer service immediately. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue.

7. Duties & Taxes

7.1. Sales Tax:
Sales tax will be applied to the total price of your order based on your location.

7.2. Import Duties & Taxes:
For international orders, any import duties or taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. These fees will be prepaid during checkout when applicable.

8. Cancellations

8.1. Cancellations are only accepted before dispatch. Once your order has been shipped, it can no longer be canceled. In this case, please refer to our Returns Policy for further options.

9. Insurance

9.1. All shipments are insured for loss and damage during transit according to the carrier’s standard value coverage. If you require additional insurance for your items, please contact us before shipment.
